Youth Justice Participants Gained Insight into Automotive Careers at Sytner Work Tour

3 Jun 2024

Last Week, the Youth Justice Team participated in an exciting work tour facilitated by Sytner, offering participants an overview of Audi's operations and the various career opportunities available within the company.

The session commenced with an informative presentation by Sytner's General Sales Manager, Shakil. He provided a brief history of his career and the history of Sytner, then discussed the different roles offered by Sytner, including apprenticeships, entry-level positions, and traineeships. The presentation covered a range of positions in sales, technician parts, and the body shop.

Shakil also highlighted the importance of possessing the right attitude and a willingness to learn, emphasizing that these qualities are crucial when recruiting for these roles. The participants found the talk highly inspiring, with many feeling motivated to apply for the available vacancies.

It was great to see the young people show such an interest in the Automotive Industry and for them to see all the different career paths that they have available to them.

Following the presentation, the participants were given a tour of the Audi dealership. This hands-on experience allowed them to learn about the cars, rev the engines, and ask questions. The tour provided an exciting and informative insight into the automotive industry.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Jessica Kalar Sytner for facilitating this work tour. Our young people benefited from the experience.
