Our participants were given a tour of the bakery, where they got to experience every step of the manufacturing process and some of the roles available in the industry, as well as a real experience of health and safety protocols that need to be adhered. They had to change coats and wellies based on which part of the bakery they were visiting as well as washing hands and hairnets.
Satendra Kumar shared his career journey from the bakery floor to Learning & Development Advisor, and Tracy Renshaw - Communications and Engagement Partner, organised goodie bags for everyone with an amazing selection of Walker&Son`s delicious pies and sausage rolls.
