We are delighted to announce Thermo Fisher Scientific as our winner of the Outstanding Contribution to work with Care Experienced Young People Award at our annual Business Members Awards 2021.
Thermo Fisher Scientific are picking up this award for all of their hard work and support to one of the most vulnerable groups in society, care experienced young people. They have given guidance and input into our co-designed care leaver mentoring programme, also providing a volunteer mentor.
They have joined us in speaking about the importance to support care experience young people into jobs, at national policy meetings and governmental round tables, and been with us right from the start of our Promise to Care. We are so lucky to have their support.
Jacob Brown, Voices Development Officer
We would also like to congratulate and give thanks to our nominees who offered their time and support to our care experienced young people. They are Everards Brewery Ltd, Revolution Kitchen, Samworth Brothers and Sytner Group.
