Samworth Brothers and Leicestershire Cares have a long, rewarding and very productive partnership. Over the years we worked together on a range of projects that supported community groups, young people and schools.
Recently we had the pleasure of getting together with some of their Champions to look at ideas of how to remove barriers and increase opportunities for the business to get involved in our initiatives.
It was wonderful to meet with such creative and passionate people that shape the work that we do.
Hi Catalina and Charlotte
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for your hospitality and a really informative meeting today.
Denise Moore, Kettleby
For me personally, it was so very helpful and it was totally lovely to meet some of my colleagues and some of yours!
Excited to be putting plans in place to get things moving this year.
The meeting was a perfect opportunity for the champions to learn from each other, agree on a shared vision and identify common issues. This gave our team the chance to understand what strategies and actions we need to take to make it as easy as possible for our business members share their time, skills and knowledge with those groups of people that are at risk of being left behind.
Thank you, Samworth Brother Champions, for believing that #TogetherWeCan.
Looking forward to our next meeting!
