As the government announced school closures at the beginning of January, the team have been working to ensure that our business volunteers can still be involved in our education work and continue to support young people to achieve.
Our hugely successful Remote mock interview events have been postponed and we plan to resume these once schools reopen.
Please contact helen@leicestershirecares.co.uk to book in on any of these event dates or for more information of how to get involved.
To ensure we continue to offer support to our partner schools and link them with our member businesses we are once again delivering a series of Speedy Speaker career webinars in which business volunteers talk about their careers and answer questions on that sector. These were popular with both schools, students and businesses during the March lockdown. See below for dates.

The winners of our Maths Pirate Challenge were announced this month and we are pleased to announce that The Queensmead Academy won a set of new maths games for their school thanks to the kind donation from Hinckley and Rugby Building Society.
Thank you to our member businesses and partner schools for continuing to be creative and agile in these unstable times.
