National Careers Week (NCW) runs throughout the country from 3rd - 8th March to promote careers guidance. This week aims to get students thinking about their skills, interests and future aspirations and what steps they might take to get there.
As a charity that supports young people and works with businesses to share employability skills, Careers Week is an important and relevant event to mark.
Starting tomorrow, 4th March, our Education Team is hosting Speedy Speakers online talks to be streamed to secondary schools across Leicester and Leicestershire, with an exciting range of professionals who have volunteered to talk about their jobs and career path. These presentations will be followed by Q&A sessions where school students get a chance to ask speakers about their job and career.
