As many of you know last year the UP Project participants created a focus group to try and deter young people away from carrying knives. The participants have worked extremely hard over the last seven months despite Covid-19 to create an animation. The aim of the animation is to educate young people on the law and the consequences of carrying knives, with an emphasis on the impact it has on not only the victim and the perpetrator but family/friends, and the wider community. Together they have created a short animation including the story board, the character and are now at the last hurdle recording their script. We are so proud of each and every one of those who have engaged in this and are excited to share with you the draft images of what you can expect! We hope to launch the complete animation by the end of February. If you would like further information please email siobhan@leicestershirecares.co.uk.
