We are pleased to announce that Walkers Deli and Sausage has been awarded the Leicestershire Care's Business Contribution to Festive Campaigns award.
This recognition comes as a result of their continuous engagement, hard work, and support towards our festive campaigns and challenges.
As part of the Bags of Hope campaign, Walkers Deli and Sausage donated an incredible 100 bags filled with chocolates, biscuits, festive treats, hats, books, socks, and toiletries. These bags were distributed to local charities and community groups by the Community Development team. In addition, several teams from Walkers Deli and Sausage also volunteered at local charity 'Toys on the Table', wrapping children's presents and creating bundles of gifts for those who may have gone without.
As part of the Festive Challenge initiative, a large group of volunteers visited a local dementia day centre, where they entertained the guests with games of bingo and supplied prizes. The morning ended with a lovely afternoon tea and boxes of festive biscuits for everyone to take home.
Leicestershire Cares would like to thank Walkers Deli and Sausage on behalf of all the groups, charities, and participants who benefited from their engagement. They have shown ongoing support, endless energy, and a willingness to get involved in many aspects of our festive challenges and campaigns.
