Joining Up Joining In- My Care Journey

21 Feb 2025

The Joining Up, Joining In (JUJI) group has been making waves with its incredible work! From successfully campaigning to have care experience recognised as a protected characteristic to creating the powerful film Change the Script, they are reshaping how care-experienced young people are seen. They’ve even taken their voices straight to Downing Street, challenging ‘local connection’ rules that make it harder for care-experienced young people to access housing support outside their original care area.

Now, they’re embarking on an exciting new project—My Care Journey!

This will be a fresh, engaging, and impactful publication—because the group has declared no more boring booklets! It will explore big questions like: Does being in care have a positive side? Is everyone in care treated equally? How does it shape your future? And does it make you different?

To bring their vision to life, the JUJI group is teaming up with Simon at Sandstar. So, keep an eye out—things are set to take off in the next couple of months!
