The Leicestershire Business Awards, held in partnership with headline sponsor Mazars, recognised East Midlands Chamber members across 13 categories, ranging from Excellence in Innovation and Environmental Impact at organisational level through to individual honours for Entrepreneur of the Year and Apprentice of the Year, in addition to the overall Business of the Year winner. Finalists, chosen by a judging panel of the Chamber’s senior leadership and board of directors, as well as sponsors, discovered their fate during a gala dinner attended by hundreds of people at Leicester City FC’s King Power Stadium. Our team had a great night out and waited eagerly in anticipation as we had been nominated for two awards:
- Education and Business Partnership
- Community Impact
We were humbled and honoured to win both awards and it did feel like a significant mark of recognition for our “Power to Change” approach to working in partnership with business, community, young people and the public sector so everyone can thrive.
To win the community impact award, when there are so many great organisations out there working with the community is a great honour, and huge thanks to the East Midland Chambers for organising this event and EMH for sponsoring the award, it is a real boost for all our young people, community and business partners
