Recently, Susan Icke Senior finance manager at Hinckley & Rugby Building Society and her team, welcomed Kym and **** a participant on the Altogether Now Project, in to their finance department for a bespoke world of work tour.
Kym and **** enjoyed meeting the team and hearing all about their job roles within HRBS and the insight it gave in to the different roles in the department and the variable pathways team members have taken to gain their roles at HRBS. The ongoing support for staff learning and development really stood out and our participant **** came away feeling inspired, motivated and more confident that a career in his area of interest is achievable.
it was an absolute pleasure to meet **** and introduce him to our finance team, they enjoyed talking to him about what they do on a day-to-day basis, sharing the varied routes in to their current job roles and their learning journeys, in particular their progression through accountancy qualifications.
