Our community development team has partnered with Moneywise Plus to offer a “Green” solution to tackling the “Digital Divide”
Following on from a presentation by Moneywise Plus Project Manager, Sangeeta Patel at our annual celebration, We have been encouraging our partners in the business community like AllTruck and Cambridge and Counties Bank to donate old laptops, that are then wiped clean, upgraded and passed onto people who need them.
It’s a simple, green and effective way to tackle the Digital Divide and its great to be able to partner with Leicestershire Cares and their business partners on this
Sangeeta Patel Project Manager Moneywise Plus
This is such a simple and effective idea that makes a real difference to those people who are given a laptop and it’s great to reduce waste and landfill as well
Kieran Breen CEO Leicestershire Cares
We will be continuing to promote this much needed initiative and urge those who can to donate their old laptops, tablets and smart phones.
