Holmfield Day Centre is a social care facility located in Leicester, UK. The centre offers day care services for older adults, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments who may require extra support and care during the day.

On a sunny day in May, a team of volunteers from Everards Brewery completed the creation of a sensory garden for guests to enjoy and maintain. The team had prepared planters and pots and emptied the existing pond in readiness for the day. The first part of the morning was spent filling and rejuvenating the pond, and planting the pots and raised bed with sensory plants.
The team had a special surprise for the guests and staff in addition to the garden. Within the grounds of the centre, they have a small replica village that includes a small pub. The team brought Everards memorabilia, including beer mats, pictures, and bar mats, and they also donated boxes of glasses, and they also installed a dummy beer pump, completing the transformation.
