We were delighted to announce Carla Loughrey of Hinckley and Rugby Building Society as the winner of the ‘Education volunteer of the Year’ award at our celebration evening.
All shortlisted contenders have demonstrated their commitment and creativity in supporting our education projects and ultimately supporting students with their reading, interview technique and employability skills.
Thank you, Carla. You have been proactive in your role as member champion by rallying around Hinckley and Rugby Building Society volunteers to fill our events and activities. Your help in recruiting staff for focus groups and work with students with Special educational needs (SEND) was key to its success.
