It was great to meet with our business champions to celebrate our work over the last six months and to look at how we can improve how we work together over the coming year.
We started the meeting by recognising outstanding contributions to our work . Our Champions Champion was from, Tina Siena-Tomlinson, Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Golden Hearts were awarded to Jennifer Griffiths, Everards, Kirsty Nelson, DNV, Anthony Brown, HRBS, Jerilee Foster Joules, Jessica Davies Joules and Kellie Lee Cambridge and Counties Bank
It is a pleasure to work with Leicestershire Cares and it really is a team effort, where my colleagues work with me to support the community

We then split into groups and looked at ways we could motivate even more people in the business community to volunteer. We also discussed how we might offer support to Ukrainian families and young people arriving in the county. We agreed we want to focus on developing more opportunities and partnerships across the county.
Lastly, we shared a new events calendar which should make it easier for businesses to know about upcoming opportunities and how they can get involved.
Leicestershire Cares does a great job developing opportunities and partnerships which the business community can participate in, we are looking forward to working with you over the coming year
