Last academic year 308 business volunteers participated in our interview Technique event and collectively interviewed 2,417 students in 16 schools across Leicester and Leicestershire.
93% students reported that it had a positive effect on their confidence going to their next interview. In addition, business volunteers reported that it improved their own skills such as:
- Giving constructive feedback,
- Coaching and mentoring
- Communication
- Motivating others.
Our business volunteers are key to making these events successful and passing on their knowledge and expertise to the workforce of the future.
